A great poem. but life is not really what we permit ourselves to do. There are certain rules which are to be governed and respected. We act and permit ourselves everything according to the laws.

I have a special child and often have so much guilt. Thanks for the post I needed to realise that even though I spend my life nurturing and loving this child that now and again I can be sad about things that I will never experience with my son. He doesn’t talk and I would give anything to hear him say mama. I dont wallow but need to stop feeling guilty. Your site has helped me through a pretty tough time.
