I’ve always believed that in order to grow and reach the next level, you must learn from the best.
You’d want to learn from the mistakes that successful people make (so you can avoid them) and also understand how they achieve the phenomenal things they do.
With that, let me leave you with a speech by Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple and Pixar Animation. Now Steve is a remarkable man who has gone through a lot of ups and downs. I am quite sure you will be able to learn much from him.
Do share with me the insights and “AHA’s” you managed to get from the video in the comments section. Feel free to email me too to chat!

Today marks the end of an interesting year - A year where I made the decision to stray from the conventional path to pursue an infopreneurial route.
Yes, it’s not easy. But I’m still hanging on… and that’s because of readers like you.
You see, I have a vision… My vision is to touch the lives of as many people as I can, through my writings. People who are interested in improving their lives… People who want to find more meaning and joy… People who are enthusiastic to learn new things and apply them… People like you.
Now, you may be wondering… what does that get me? How would helping you help me in any way?
Well it helps me find and refine my own meaning in life. Often, when you give, you get back more in return… it may be intangible but you know the feelings are worth their weight in gold.
So without further ado, let me present to you my best personal development articles in 2007… Continue Reading »

When this man died, I was only 12 years old. I couldn’t have known about him. It’s only through the wonders of the technology we have today - the technology that we have taken for granted - that I chanced upon the following video of Jimmy V. at youtube.
An amazing speech indeed. It summarizes a dying man’s wisdom of how life should be lived (Valvano died less than 2 months after giving this speech) -
“To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And Number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special.” Continue Reading »

*Wait no more! The FAQ Book on Public Speaking is available for RichGrad.com readers now!*

Do you have a fear for Public Speaking?
Well guess what? You are not alone. It’s a well-known fact that people fear public speaking more than death! But you know what the ironic thing is? Public Speaking is one of the most lucrative careers out there.
That’s right. Speakers like Anthony Robbins earn more addressing a few thousand people at one time for 3 hours than what most folks make slogging it out for years in their jobs.
I hope you are seeing the picture now.
The opportunity cost for not confronting your fear of public speaking is too great to be ignored. Fortunately, my good friends Eric Feng and Andrew Zhan have put on their thinking caps, superhero capes and ultra red underwear to help you alleviate your fears and become a successful public speaker.
